Preconditions of the poster:
Title
What is the working title of your research proposal? Try to draw interest in the main title and be clear and informative in your subtitle.
Research question
What is it you want to know? Describe here in a single question what the central issue of your thesis is to be. Explain in a few accompanying sentences what you mean by the question. NB: title and question can overlap.

Operationalisation
How do you actually intend to go about getting your answer to your main question? Describe here briefly (keywords) what you are actually going to study in order to find an answer to your question and how. Are you going to focus on research to the surviving copies, the literary context or the cultural-historical context of the Middle Dutch text?
Other preconditions
-Add a relevant and high-quality (at least 300 dpi) free-to-use illustration
-Add the logo of Utrecht University
-Add your name
-Use at least paper size A2
-Use software to create your poster, i.e. PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or free graphic software.
Pitch
Prepare an engaging elevator pitch of one minute to present your poster to your peers and teacher

Track user notes in the margins of the manuscript or printed book

Find intertextual relations between your text and other
Cultural-historical context
Investigate the cultural perceptions on men and women in your text
In order to make the poster attractive and easy to read: design clean layout and use bullets and headlines, graphics and color
Important information should be readable from a distance
Be clear and to the point in text and presentation
Use poster templates on the internet (www.posterpresentations.com, www.postersessions.com)
On the presentation day: bring tape

Submit your file at the copy shop in PDF, JPEG, PowerPoint, or Adobe format.
Make sure your file is of adequate resolution and size to make a quality print (printing size must be set before you start your design!).
Submit in time: allow for a turn-around time of 2 days.
Calculate the costs of 15-20 euro.
Make sure you have copyright clearance
