To find book reviews, search for the title/author in combination with the word review.

Not every search engine will point you to book reviews, but these will:

• BNTL
• Google Scholar
• Google (but be careful to distinguish "reader comments from scholarly reviews)
• LexisNexis (for reviews in national and international newspapers)

You can use a book review to:

• Establish the quality of a book
• Compare your opinion of the book to that of others
• Decide if the book is worth the trouble in case you can't get hold of the book easily.
