ME2V15005 Intermedialiteit: Module 7: Presentation selected literature

LibGuide for the course Intermedialiteit (ME2V15005)

7.1 Presentation selected literature

NOTE This module is related to an in-class group presentation in week 7 of the course. Make sure you have finished this module before giving the presentation!

Looking at your list of 20 titles, what are the 8 books and/or articles you suggest your fellow students read first when they want to find an answer to your group's question and why these 8?

There are different potential criteria to consider when thinking of such a selection. To name just a few:

  • Include key publications
  • Variation in books and articles
  • Variation in year of publication
  • Variation in theoretical/foundational publications and applied case studies
  • Variation in theoretical perspectives
  • Variation in geographical areas

What criteria do you think are important to take into account when making this list? Why?

To do in class (week 7)

Give a short 5 minute presentation in which you verbally and visually present and motivate your selection of 8 titles.

Use any kind of visual slides to support your presentation. Make sure these slides include a Chicago-style bibliography of these 8 publications. You might consider thinking of a visual form to explain in what way the 8 publications you selected are relevant and how they relate to each other.

NOTE Check ‘0. Reference management (using Zotero)’ how you can create a bibliography in Zotero

And now what?

This was the last on-line module. The final thing you need to do now is to work on your final assignment (which needs to be completed BEFORE the in-class presentation). Check About - Assignments and Assessment for a detailed description.
